''Matapédia'' is a 1996 album by Kate and Anna McGarrigle. Kate's daughter Martha Wainwright appears on the album as a backing vocalist; she is also directly mentioned in the lyrics of the title track. The title "Matapédia" refers to the river in eastern Quebec which runs down to the town of Matapédia and then out into baie des Chaleurs. The rhythm of the river is supposed to be the inspiration for the loping beat of the album's title track. The album won the Juno Award for Roots & Traditional Album of the Year - Group at the Juno Awards of 1997. ==Track listing== #"Matapedia" – 4:52 - ''Kate'' #"Goin' Back to Harlan" – 4:59 - ''Anna'' #"I Don't Know" – 4:28 - ''Kate'' #"Hang Out Your Heart" – 4:27 - ''Kate/Anna/Philippe Tatartcheff/Chaim Tannenbaum'' #"Arbre" – 3:14 - ''Anna/Tatartcheff'' #"Jacques et Gilles" – 4:27 - ''Kate'' #"Why Must We Die" – 5:32 - ''Kate/Anna/Joel Zifkin'' #"Song for Gaby" – 2:55 - ''Anna'' #"Talk About It" – 5:50 - ''Kate/Anna'' #"The Bike Song" – 3:54 - ''Anna'' 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Matapédia (album)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
